Whether you're a boat owner looking for crew for an upcoming regatta, a predicted log racer with a question, an experienced spinnaker trimmer in need of a position, or you've got a dinghy for sale, you can probably find what you're looking for right here.

General Guidelines

• Please stay on topic
• Please keep posts to a reasonable length
• Please respond to posts off-line unless the thread or topic is of interest to the entire community
• Posts may not advertise any commercial business offerings or products sold for profit or any products or services not related to yachting
• Posts may not include any statements or comments that could be considered objectional or controversial in nature. This is not a political or religious forum.

Please note that the above are common-sense guidelines for what may and may not be posted in the SBYC Forums. These forums are here as a service to South Beach Yacht Club and the Northern California Yachting community and are meant to provide a tool for all of us to use.

Let's try to behave like civilized people would act when gathered in such a public place, even though we can't see each other. Disagreements and differences of opinions are of course welcome, but personal attacks, vindictive remarks, strong profanity, and other insulting behaviors are not welcome. Otherwise, you will drive off many of the people who could help you the most, or cause them to turn a deaf "ear" to your posts.

All postings are logged and the site curator is automatically notified. Any posts violating these guidelines will be deleted and similar postings from the same individual or group will be cause for immediate access restrictions to be inplemented.
