The
OODs, our unsung heros. These are the people that open the Club on their
own time & work their tails off behind the bar to make the Club what
it is. If you can't find the information you're looking for here, just
send a note to the Head OOD.
What
does the Officer Of the Day actually do? It's sort of like owning a small
company for a day. You have all the responsibility for an ongoing business
plus you have to take care of all the little detail jobs — because
there's no one else to do them. It's important to remember that, as on
a ship, the OOD has all the responsibility for operations on his or her
watch. You are filling an important role, and, without you
our Club could not continue to operate. Your fellow members know this
and they genuinely appreciate your contribution.
